Oil on 12x15 canvas board. The subject is Aberffraw on the Isle of Anglesey. Most of the painting was completed using a palette knife with a small amount of brushwork on the distant houses. I used a limited palette to try a keep colour harmony throughout the painting (and make decision making much easier)

I have sketched and painted over many years. I live on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey which is blessed with extensive coastlines and the beautiful mountains of nearby Snowdonia providing plenty of inspirational subjects .
