Very nicely done Ruth. Last time I was in Thornaby was when I was covering for the firman strike in 77-78, unfortunately never had a chance to see much of the town .

That’s right I spent hours there fighting it . It was full of wood pulp and the workmen went off for Christmas and left a brazier burning , oh what a fun way spend Christmas Day.
