This really works Ruth, the portrait is of course a beautiful detailed portrait, love the flyaway tresses of hair as well which help to give her an ethereal almost other worldly look

Heavily textured painting on stretched linen - this painting is on an old piece of sheet music called 'The Mermaid' and has netting, glass beads, texture paste and silver wax applied to it.
