A superb composition and the colours are great - your textures and loose pastel strokes have enhanced the interest of this superb work ( just one very tiny thing that sort of jars for me Robert is the whiteness of the church that is bang in the middle which seems to be distracting my eyes ) but hey what do I know - & as this is such a masterful work you have probably put it there intentionally !

Thanks Lynne.<br /><br />Your right, I did! The shine around the church in that part of town is the wet road reflecting the light. Actually, if you notice i&#39;ve not signed it. I did a bit more work on it in the studio making some of those adjustments and like you, I noticed it jared. <br /><br />The original is behind glass now and in exhibition at Gallery 49 at Bridlington. Such is the busy exhibition schedules and framers and deliveries I didn&#39;t get chance to photograph it again. <br /><br />Hey ho! The one that nearly got away!<br />

Hi Robert, many thanks for your kind comment on my Staithes posting. Your name rang a bell but I see you haven't posted on here for a few years. I'm presuming then that I've seen you in The Artist magazine as a feature writer. Just read your profile and I see that you do contribute to TA.
