A very creditable attempt at a peacock Rebecca, he's quite magnificent! Perhaps leave out the green feathery bits at the ends of the large feathers though. The Brusho colours have worked very well.

Mr magnificent Rebecca... More Peacocky than hedgy.... The tail is superb.p

Thanks so much Christine, :-) i'm really pleased you think it resembles one :-) i will keep trying :-) il try your suggestion next time :-) thank you :-)

Can tell very well he's a peacock Rebecca, you have the lovely greeny/blue on his breast.

Good work Rebecca, I like Mr Peacock. All your animals are so cute and they make me smile, which is so important. Keep painting!

Thanks so much Satu :-) im glad my animal paintings make you smile, that's kind of you, thank you :-)

Really like this alot as well as your vulcher robin who really is not a vulchur :). Great colour combinations too :)

:-) you are very kind Sarah :-) that robin is the old vulcher, but today i uploaded another one that was even fatter, but i deleted it and then uploaded the thinner one :-) i am really pleased you like this peacock :-)

Using brusho watercolours i have tried to capture a peacock bird, but, i am thinking perhaps it is looking more like a hedge than a peacock........ what do you all think? i used a little white relief paste too around the eye and top of its legs. i think i have gone too much into detail....... should have kept it simple. thanks for looking :-) the paper is A6 canson Montval 300gsm :-)
