Thanks to everyone who has commented. Really appreciate the encouragement. Got some new hens: ex- battery, rescue hens. Think I'll paint some of them, although they've lost a lot of their feathers. Could make an interesting pic!

Another picture of my hens. Usual size and style. This time it features a 'Warren' and a 'Highline'. The flowers are Geraniums growing in the garden. For the horticulturalists, the variety is 'Johnson's Blue'.
