At the age of 83 and given Delhi's harsh summer and short lived but nonetheless chilly winter, I am unable to paint outside. Yes, I do take photographs and then interpret them so as to make the best painting. My studio is the dining table at home ! Many thanks, Holger, for your generous compliments.

Muhammad Shah was a ruler of the 15th century Sayyid dynasty. It is the oldest tomb in the Lodi Garden and architecturally very pleasing . I have taken the liberty of including myself in the painting but excluded the palm trees that form the outer perimeter. Too many to paint individually !
