You have such beautiful buildings & places to paint from. This must surely be one of your best, managing to look detailed but very simply worked & that's not a critiscm. You should surely be illustrating books or documents

Yes Karen, I am lucky to have lovely monuments all around me or when I go on holiday. At the age of 83 I am not looking for illustration work: just enjoying painting. Thanks for your appreciative words.

Built around 1400 AD by the then Maharaja to conserve water in the desert state. The stone 'chhatris' or canopies are a feature of the area. A 'chhatri' exists in Brighton UK to commemorate the site where a number of Indian soldiers, who died in WW I, were cremated.
