Pristine in the Beauty Val

It doesn't look over worked to me Val, it's a lovely painting!

There's a great feel of height and distance Val and the light falling on the peaks is excellently done.

No not over worked Val, in fact it's the 'friendliest' I've ever seen Glencoe look, almost tamed....not,lol. Love the depth and the granulation in your washes. A beauty!

Wow, Love the contrasts Val

Still looks good to me fiddle or no fiddle

Looks very cold on the tops of those mountains Val. So much atmosphere, good colour and well painted

Val what a beauty you've been hiding! The colours are gorgeous, so cool and calm. Fantastic painting😉

Definitely not overworked!

Thank you very much everyone. The very dark hillside had a bit more colour in it until I decided to fiddle and darken it :(

Nice painting Val, particularly like the snow covered mountains .

Great mountains, captured the light and shadow perfectly, also the touch of pink in the sky. The contrast with the dark foreground, looks perfect.

This painting has a lovely sense of distance. I like the toned down shadows on the mountains.

A beautiful scene Val!

Thank you Graham, Kevin, Paul and Sarah your comments are very much appreciated.

A lovely atmospheric piece, Val. The sunlight is beautifully depicted.

Not painted much recently so thought I'd try this scene in watercolour which I'd previously done in pastel. Fiddled a bit to much with it though :( Thanks for looking.
