Watercolour on 300gsm rough - During one port of call for Queenn Mary 2 was Kota Kinabalu in Sabah, Borneo. This was a snap shot of storks waiting and hovering above the open air fish markets. Again using the technique of painting the storks first, preserving the whites with a bead of clear water, then painting the roof with combination of wet and dry brush. Lastly painted the sky and details of storks legs and beak.
