Lovely pastel work John, a good subject for pastel.

Pastel at its best John.

You definitely have a way with pastels John. Just lovely.

lovely work John,

Brilliant John as always.

A nice addition to your gallery John. After seeing your pastel painting yesterday, I very nearly was encouraged to take out my pastels. I'm very good at looking at them!

excellent work again John lovely control of complimentary colour those blue flowers in the foreground lead you in to the picture

Thank you folks your comments are very much appreciated.

I love this one ,John.

I like the dark purpley magenta-ey area at the end of the path, just goes to show it's all about tone rather than literal colour. John, I answered your comment on 'Weeds and wheelbarrow', wondering if you have photos of your plein air setup? Yes, I am a little obsessed.

Pastel Painting. Size10x8. I at one time used to paint on location at Norton Priory. The paintings would then be displayed and sold in the Gardener's Cottage. Painted it a number of times over. It was a good seller. This location is at the same place as the Bandstand. Added to my galllery yesterdays.
