Just looked at the “crop”of this John . The colours are wonderful. As you say we have some superb colours in the sky at this time of the year. I have had a similar idea to paint “ skies “ but you have preempted me .

Oil on canvas box frame, size 40x16 inches. In winter clouds can have the most wonderful colouring These clouds were seen on a bight sunny evening after some rain. Because of the size the file is compressed loosing a lot of the detail so I have also unloaded a crop.
