Very impressive wave John. Yes it’s a bit early. Coquet Island, near where I live comesalive with everything mid April.

I like the way you’ve used the gouache John, the opaqueness of the media has given lovely depth and structure to the rocks. Puffins are fabulous!

I was hoping to see some puffins but only the Guilemots, and Razor bills had arrived I was two week to early. The rocks, and cliffs so colourful with the waves thrashing about. Gouache on cartridge paper, size 10x5 or 255x127
