I love birds ,a very nice painting of a puffin,John.

Great idea with the sketchbook, John. If this in the start of getting to know puffins, you are there already. I like the way you've dealt with the feathers. That's what puts me off painting birds. I'll be glad to see the final painting.

Thank you Linda, Dennis, Dennis, Annick, Carole, and Lewis. Yes I know that you mean about feathers Lewis. Lol.

I love Puffins. Lovely painting of this fabulous little creature.

Love Puffins, John, one of my favourite subjects to paint, such characters.

Great work John, and you are right they are wonderful!

A lovely painting of the puffin John lots of detail in the feathers

What a super little chap John, some beautiful detail in this lovely painting of a great bird. I look forward to seeing more of them!

What a beauty John, wonderful bird!

I get your idea about becoming familiar with your chosen subject John, it’s a lesson I have learnt from last terms project. You study and draw, paint, print your subject in as many ways as possible so you could almost do it blind folded. This is a great start and I’m sure your end result will be outstanding.

Some study work at south stack Anglesey perhaps, wonderful colonies there. This is a lovely study of that beautiful bird, look forward to seeing more.

Thank you folks your feedback is very much appreciated.

Beautiful painting John of a bird full of character.
