Still Life with Fruit Bowl

I could possibly achieve this in Acrylic and oil but I really do not know how you do this in pastel. It truly is amazing and looks like and oil painting.

Thank you all for your wonderful comments. Carole, the pastel I use are sennellier, unison, rembrandt and conte soft pastels, and stabilo carbothello pastel pencils. The pastels used are not as important to me as the surface used. I use both Fisher 400 and a homemade surface of gesso primer mixed with very fine marble dust on a mount board.

Yes I think so, he is an artist as well as manufacturing his paper. It goes by the name Fisher 400.
