THREE HORSE REAPER / BINDER

What a lot of work went into this, but it was well worth it. Unusual because you have the horses going uphill toward the viewer, all that foreshortening to deal with. Respect to you, well done.

Really incredible work, this is just fantastic as are all your other works.

You see this sort of scene, and wonder at how back-breaking the work must have been; and yet I wonder if it was, or if this was really a gentler and slower time, because you couldn't force horses to work beyond their endurance. Well, short of going back in time, I'll never be able to answer that one; but I do know there was a huge amount of work in this drawing, another triumph in this painstaking genre.
