Lovely shape of the pool in this, Peter. It must have been a very busy place, and hope the new pool will be as popular. How long does a painting like this take you? And thank you for your comments on my postings - you're very generous!

Hi Jane, during the summer months this was a really busy place to be. A painting like this usually takes about 4-6 weeks, but that's mainly because of waiting for layers to dry fully. To compensate for this I like to have 2-3 paintings on the go. I add Liquin to the finer details of my final layers to speed things up a bit. I wasn't being over generous with my comments about your paintings, the really are very good!

Goodness, Peter! Such a long time, but I sort of expected they weren't painted in an afternoon. All those busy little people must take quite a long time - you must have great patience! Looking forward to seeing some more.

Sadly this paddling pool is no longer, as it has been ripped up to make way for the new swimming pool. I have great childhood memories of this pool, next to Peter Pans Playground, as I am sure lots of Worthing residents have.
