Well he looks a happy chappie. Of course can't comment on the likeness. Can't even say if he looks like you Peter as your photo is a little on the "thin" side. Probably a little work needed on the ears. I especially like his eyes - you have put a lovely twinkle in them. I also like the shading on his face. All in all not at all bad.

Thanks for the last 3 comments. I looked at my paintings from last year when i started. What an improvement. Like the rest of you ,just love painting!!!

Peter Loft

Took a watercolour painting course on board the Oriana in May last year. Got the bug. Bought lots of water colour materials. Later on joined a painting class in Hull. moved on to acrylics and do at least 2 or 3 paintings a week......Now have 3 hobbies, painting,photography and magic tricks.
