kingfisher

This is lovely, the bark of the twig and the kingfisher especially. I have just done my first acrylic with oil pastel but by default ! I just don't seem to be able to get on with acrylics but keep trying as I don't like waste. I decided to work over the top of my latest in oil pastel to see what effects I could get and really liked it. The painting itself isn't very good but I'll certainly be giving them both a try again and hopefully produce something as good as this.

i love birds....the kingfisher is a bird with amazing colours...............this is wonderful...... love the feathers

thanks for your comments. Im very new to painters online and ive not looked at too many peoples work but i did see Ruthy flets drawings. Wonderful. I love sketching and sketch books when i look back at them its like reading old diaries.
