I admire work done in gouache as I can't seem to get the right colour mixes, this is also a lovely composition looking through the archway with cool colours, then a sunnier view in the near distance. I like the yellow/ green plant on the right of the painting. Carole.

Glad to hear from you again. First thanks for your comments on 'portrait', as usual there are a few features that didn't turn out the way I wanted them but there is a slight resemblance. I love paintings depicting narrow roads and this one you painted has a great perspective. The archway view is very nice too, and your colour mixing is something I admire. Regards Lorraine.
