This is a beautiful painting, Jeannette. Living at the windy Belgian coast, I can tell you: it is very often that we have a sky and the sea like this. The only difference: we have sand on the beach. You captured the atmosphere exceptionally well!!!

Missed this one the other day the site is so busy! This is a wonderful painting as always but what makes it for me is the colours you have used and the light coming through the clouds, amazing. The last commission I did for someone they ended up buying two paintings as well, great isn't it. Bit like buses, none for a while then several at once !!!

Commissions come in strange ways. This one sitting in the hairdressers and just chatting about art. A young lady mentioned that she would like a local painting taken from a photograph her husband took last year. The tide is way out, one never knows how the sea is going to leave the beach lots of shingle or wide strip of sand. Acrylic on boxed canvas 70 x 100cms.
