Christine Kyles sent in her version of Paul's challenge saying: ‘For Paul's October challenge I washed over the board with burnt umber mostly, and the top half with cadmium yellow. I marked out the roadway in a mixture of burnt umber, reds and yellows. The trees were done with olive green and cadmium yellow and for the grass verge I used emerald green and yellow ochre mixed with burnt umber. The background foliage, which came out rather dark, was done in burnt umber and ultramarine.’
