A painting full of charm, lovely warm colours of the land complimented by the mountain in the background. A lovely moment to catch and illustrate. What a good eye you have for a story. Please tell me what paper do you use?

Lala.Almost always use white with a weight anything over 220gms.Over the years I can generally tell from the feel whether the paper has enough tooth to hold a reasonable amount of pastel pigment. I have been caught a few times buying paper with an almost invisible but regular pattern on the surface which tends to show up through the painting. At the moment I am useing a pad of Canson White 220gms which is working we;;.Regards Keith.
