This is super, David! Just love the wiry hair on the face you've managed to convey with the impasto - not the easiest thing to do. Thank you too for the very much for your comment on my whippet painting. I apologise for the delay in my response - last week was a bit insane due to my participating in an exhibition. In answer to your question, I am based in Singapore, and no I didn't know that greyhounds (and their whippet relatives) were the only dogs which could smile. I did rather like the fact that I had smiley dogs but did not realise they were unique. Thank you for the information.

Hi...Just found him, he's an Airedale, isn't he? He reminds me of Bruce, one of my childhood dogs, with the crinkly wiry hair. The Impasto style is perfect for his portrait.
