Indeed - and while I've never been to Iceland, I feel I'd recognize it from the light depicted in your paintings; it's very characteristic - subdued but not dull; there's a huge range of subtle greys in your gallery as a whole, enlivened by the occasionally almost startling slash of colour, as here in the water, and the plummy depths of the distance.
