The Queen pub

I thought I'd seen them all and then you post this lovely painting! Very nice greenery. The whole painting has a very authentic feel to it. The pub sign is brilliantly done - lettering is so hard in a painting, but the way you have faded it away it great. Hope this one does well at the exhibition.

Thank you both. This was really difficult; so many different styles of stonework that I really didn't want to put in but without it it was just somewhere else. Found the colours very hard in this too- late evening and mostly in shadow. The gate is no longer cockeyed by the way. Another where you don't see faults until it's on computer. I hate the chimney and the pub roofline.

i just can't make up my mind what i like best, you are very versatile, so many diffetent subjects, they are all so good, what do you enjoy doing best?
