Wonderful detail. I could just pluck it from the tree.

Thank you. CP work certainly takes a long time!

Yes, CP does take time, but it gives beautiful results as shown here in your work, Diana. Wonderful combination of graphite and watercolour wash....this is lovely!

No graphite in this. Watercolour pencils for the original base colour of the pear which you can only now see in the highlight. The rest is Derwent Studio coloured pencils layered and blended .

This is wonderful Diana, I do admire your skill with coloured pencils.

stunning and great detail

This is super Diana, great detail and I can see there is a lot of work in it.

A wonderful piece of work Diana!!

Ee, you clever swoine........ Not fair!

Brilliant Diana, I'm well impressed :) That book you recommended has certainly worked for you so as it is my birthday quite soon I've been dropping big hints about it, fingers crossed.

Aw gerrof Robert- it's nowt special! Val that book really is an excellent tutorial. I just tried out the last but one technique. Haven't enjoyed such a book so much in ages. For anyone interested it's "The Ultimate Guide to Colored Pencil" (yes American Spelling) by Gary Greene.
