Ah Ha! I believe i know this boat! I've dived her! She was sunk as a barrier in Portland Harbour and is now blown up as she was dangerous! In life she was a grand old warrior! I look forward to seeing your painting of her!

HMS Hood was sunk in the Denmark Strait in 1941 perhaps one of the most famous sinkings during WW 2. as there were only 3 survivors
