Is this your first attempt with acrylics Nandhini? A terrific result using a new medium, love the dark areas, they really boost the brighter areas.

Thank you Fiona! I would say yes for acrylics experimentation because I have done an odd few in this medium without much success but sometimes I wonder why not give it a go so here I took that call.. I have done huge number in watercolour and recently made a foray into oils too albeit with guidance. But after watching Jenny here I said to myself I want to create as well, so here it is!

I watched Jenny Aitkens video demo during the Patchings festival and I also received my freebie from your magazines studio membership subscription of a box of system 3 acrylics.. as an obvious sequence I put them to use today with this artwork.. only after watching the video I was hooked to acrylics as any other artist who love experimenting..
