Rocks on the beach

I like the feeling of the slow movement of water and this may sound silly but you can actually feel the 'wetness' of the water! Lovely work!

I agree this painting works so well that I too get a feeling of the wetness of the water, it has been painted so well with what we all seek to achieve realism, and love how the rocks have been rendered

What makes it for me is the way the background waves have been rendered - they give the painting agreat sense of recession.

The rocks really have a solidity about them and do appear to be wet, as Michael has said, there is a nice feeling of recession here also.

Hi Mynderd, total agree with all the above, super picture, but for me the wetness of the rocks are good but the background is superb.

This is excellent work! You really get the feel of wet sand in front and the waves coming in behind - full of energy.
