This is a lovely scene Murray, really like the calm foreground here of the grasses and then sharp straigtht lines of the boat masts and the riot of colour in the harbour, you handled that transition so well with the sharp lines and blocks of colour in the boats then the buildings leading on to the church, it is really eyecatching

I'm sure you have done a similar one to this or am I mistaken? In any event effective harbour feel and very dramatic sky.

This is a super painting - full of colour and detail. I love the sky and the way you have encourages the eye into the painting along the path. You have lovely work in your portfolio.

Thanks for the comments; Apologies, you are correct Gudrun I had already put this one up and put it up again not realising so I deleted the original one.

Artisan oil on stretched cotton canvas 24" x 12" I liked this unusual view of Yarmouth harbour as it shows no water and yet is clearly a bustling harbour with the town with it's church as the backdrop. I like to paint unusual views of well known places sometimes.
