Is this done in pencil Andy? It's a superb drawing, lovely tones and textures.

Hi Fiona, Thanks for taking a look. Yes it is pencil, although not a great photo just taken on my iphone.

How long would something of this fine detail take you to work on? There are some amazing tones and marks.

This one probably took me around 12-15 hours but wasn't counting, other priorities mean I don't really manage to get a good run at it so half an hour here an hour there if I'm lucky. I'll still probably go back to this and alter some of the overall tones when I get time.
