Really enjoying this series Philip, keep 'em coming.

Outstanding work Philip. Seeing this portrait will help me improve my technique (hopefully!). I love the soft washes and the colours.

Thank you Sarah and Ibolya. Glad you're enjoying the pictures. I'm enjoying doing them but I'd like to think there's a market somewhere. Am considering my next moves, including the possibility of a composite piece featuring privates Godfrey, Pike, Fraser and Walker!

Very nice job

You've caught him perfectly - not many do when they paint " celebs". Even better is the fact that it's very "painterly".

Thank you Salih and Marjorie.

Beautifully done, a great series Philip.

I'm so enjoying seeing your Dads Army characters Philip. Uncle Arthur looks wonderful, there must be a market for these!

Very recognisable - great watercolour, Philip

Thank you Carole, Margaret, Maureen and Gudren. Appreciated.

Thought I should catch up on your latest postings following your comments on mine earlier today. I'm not sorry - great work - it's something I've never done (watercolour portraits) and not likely to try - I'll leave it to you experts.

Thank you Michael. Didn't get to the Cherry Tree Michael, but walked along the Brampton Way to the Oxenden Tunnel.
