Thank you, Diana. Very encouraging. I wasn't at all sure about posting this, especially as the photo hasn't quite picked up some of the greens and the texture.

Lovely colour choices. It comes across as a dreamy painting, romantic and very spring like. Very good!

Thousands of pictures of bluebell woods are produced each year, many very lovely works. However, I wanted to be very loose, almost abstract. I hope the brushmarks convey the energy of spring. Painted on top of a previous painting of an unrelated subject. Leaving some of that painting to show where appropriate added to the effect.
