Should look OK, Michael?? It will look stunning! So simple and so effective - but the result of years of experience. I love the effect you've created in the sky and the old tree is so evocative.

I agree with Jane, it looks simple to the experienced. Love the addition of the watercolour wash, it will look lovely framed.

Very nice Micheal, lovely, loosely painted sky. Both the starkness of the original ink drawing and the finished painting work well. 'Two for one' as it were.

I can only agree with the comments already made Michael, this is so effective in its simplicity,really nice piece which should look even better with your suggested double mount and black frame to finish it off,

The sky is beautiful in this, Michael. To my eye it's the sort of light you see after a quick heavy downpour that's swiftly moved on.Striking and original.
