Thanks everyone for your generous comments. I am now scratching my head to think of some more images along similiar lines - has anyone any ideas?

Perhaps an animal or a tumble down house, or would one of your cartoons look good framed like this?

A really classic series of images Michael, especially the way you have chosen to mount them. How about 'mother & child' ie. Madonna-ish, how about Roman or Greek clasical figures?

Really nice line drawing Michael. I have seen a similar print by Tracey Emin of the royal wedding kiss. I much prefer yours.

Thanks Stephen, Fiona and Denise - a few ideas which i will work on - they take a bit of thinking about and i find it quite amazing how just one mark either added, removed or placed differently can make such a difference to the finished drawing when you are working to this degree of minimalism so getting them right is not as quick as the finished drawing would suggest.
