Always good to stray occasionally, Michael. I see you've done an intriguing series of these - the textures and shapes are super.

It suggests a head of cow parsley to me with its delicate clusters of white flowers. My favourite so far!

It's a whale under water! I must try your technique one day Michael, it looks interesting.

I see a bouquet of flowers, so very delicate .

yes a cow parsley head came to mind as soon as I saw it Michael, must be on same wave length as Christine, but I can now see Sarah's interpretation too.

It just shows that texture in painting is an abstract lovely. I find it a very relevant and rewarding pass time

And it looks like an umbrella to me :-) one decorated with flowers, I dare to say :-)

it's a sneeze...

Achillia....or yarrow. Like it.

Cow Parsley for me!

So it's an umbrella pretending to be a flower of the umbelliferae variety giving off pollen and giving rise to an asthmatic attack - Thanks all - very helpful.

Definitely Cow Parsley - thought that as soon as I saw it. Lovely abstract - makes a real statement framed like that.

Of course, could be a sideways mushroom cloud!

With my last abstract posting I had several different suggestions as to what it could be and I wonder how this one will be interpreted. Although unintentional a flower sprung to mind. It was done as a one to one demo to demonstrate the technique. I've now got it in a frame (12ins by 12ins) and it looks okay. Probably the last abstract for a while - must get back to my watercolours
