Great idea Michael. I have a block of wood my husband drilled holes in top to stick my brushes in whilst working with them.

Well forgive me but couldn't seem to post this in the forum where there is a thread on this subject so I thought I'd pop it on here and although not a painting it could be considered a work of art - couldn't it? Anyway it may be of interest to others - my solution to keeping my brushes together while I'm painting - a couple of brass coat hooks on a bit of wood plus paint splashes!!
