Inspired by an envelope Frank perchance? Very good Michael D

Really like the flowing lines.

Micheal I'm afraid I try to 'see' things in abstract art...an irritating failing of mine. What I'm getting from this is 'music'...which I guess is itself fairly abstract. I like it.

Yes could be a frank - actually you don't seem to get info in the frank these days like where a letter was posted. Use made here of forks a CD and a tractor tyre - oh such funloads. Now I'm giving my secrets away but they really are such fun to do and look quite stunning when decently mounted and framed. As is often the case they look better in reality than on screen with the colours all merging. Thanks one and all for your comments - much appreciated.

Looks good Michael. I like it's rusty, weathered look and design.

I'm like Lewis on this one Michael I see music in there 😃

Another interesting piece, Michael, like the choice of colours, and the 'zip' pattern on the right.

Come in P101 receiving you loud and clear. Its very good Michael, brings a number of things to memory, all sort of things.

Thanks so much Louise, Linda, Jenny and John. The 'zip effect was done with the tyre from a large toy tractor - I can't keep thinking up names for them as I produce quite a lot of these so the numbers are the ones given automatically when I download them from the camera. One of the things I like about these is that although they may appear random you are very much in control and can develop the design in several stages.

Unique work Michael yes it reminded me of a postal mark.

I love the shapes swirling around, Michael.

Works so well Michael, I too like the weathered look.

Thank you so much Carole, Ellen and Fiona.

This I like Michael, it's a bit like your other one but I prefer it, especially the wiggle at the bottom left. There's a title for you, " wiggle".

You can't beat a good wiggle Marjorie - pleased you like it.

This is another that reminds me of music Michael. Fascinating to hear about the 'implements' you used in it's production, I would never have thought of them!!

thanks Margaret - I've got quite a collection of bits and pieces that I use: old combs, pastry cutters and my favourite is a piece of material like lace but with much larger holes which I run the brayer across to get some great textures,

I like it as it’s different and totally original

Thanks Gudren and Dermot - pleased you both like it - I just love working in this way.
