A study of a hand holding a glass
Oil on canvas. This is actually the hand of the bearded man I uploaded earlier. I need to colour it in and finish the rest of the picture. There will be his other hand too. I think of it as a picture of christ but still go by the title I've given. The holding of the glass is symbolic of the scene in which jesus prays in the garden saying ' if this cup will not pass away from me lest I drink it , thy will be done'.
