I was considering doing Ikebana at one point in my life too but didn't really have the time when it was on. You captured really well what it's about.. simplicity and elegance. A proper piece of art expressed with flowers.

Since my art-student years (long ago), I am interested in the Japanese art of flower-arrangements. This is a pen and wash (Inktense watercolour pencils), size A4. For the colours and shapes of the roses, I used my own photo, the rest is pure phantasie. All comments very, very welcome :)
