Gosh Mia, that was quick and jolly good as well. I'm still debating it!!

So graceful Mia, beautiful lines.

Maybe I won't but this is skilled drawing, lost and found everywhere

Thank you very much for your quick response Adele, Carole and Derek. I really enjoyed this challenge. I have 3 grand daughters attending their local ballet school since they were 3 years old. The 2 oldest ones (21 and 18 now) are already teaching the little pupils now. In spite of this, it never came to my mind to draw or paint ballerina's. I will have to give this a try!

Made my day Mia - just great - thanks

What a fab pic Mia, I love the bits you have left out. Works .

Very elegant. I would to the dance studio if you can!

Beautiful line and movement....

She's lovely Mia, a really graceful feel to this delicate work and with so few lines. Clever stuff.. Might give it a go if I can !

Thank you very much for the lovely compliment, Michael. I am so glad you liked it. Also many thanks to Sylvia, Gudrun, Ruthy and Louise. Gudrun, those ballet-grand-daughters are living 200km from here so it is difficult to visit them in the dance studio but the school has a website with lots of pictures of their annual performance-evening. We always go and watch the show, it is stunning. We are then very proud when one of them has a solo-part as it has happened almost every year.

Beautiful lines Mia, the dancer's grace shines through in so few strokes.

Thank you very much for your positive comment, Marjorie. I appreciate.

best yet

Wonderful use of minimal line to create a well described form. Diana

Many thanks for your lovely comment, Tony and Diana.

Oh Yes, Mia!!! Love it!

Thank you very much, Jennifer.

A stunning piece, Mia! The lines are beautiful, and you've emphasized all the right places.

Your comments are always highly appreciated, Seok. Thank you very much :) Mia

I love the simplicity, Mia.. just beautiful!

Thank you very much for your nice comment, Heather.

This is my answer to Michael's challenge (was it a challenge?). Anyway, I enjoyed doing this. Thanks Michael for pushing me to take out my drawing materials.
