Another lovely drawing, Mia. (Thank you for your kind comment on my "Day's work done" which I have since lost as I re-submitted the painting - to remove mysterious white blobs in the sky!)

Lovely delicate washes and excellent pen work, I can see why this is one of your favourites.

I agree with Ann and Val, fantastic painting

You've certainly caught that frozen feeling ! Looks perishing, (as we say up North!)

Fantastic scenery, you are lucky Mia. You should illustrate a book with these beautiful delicate pen drawings.

Mia, I really, really like this one! I can quite literally feel the expanse of the space, the crisp cold air and the dizzying heights. It's so very well done. I've answered your questions on my Desert Cab page so I don't mess up your postings here. Many many thanks too for your kind comments.

Very beautiful Mia ! Your work is so lovely and delicate. I really like it.

I agree with all the above Mia, it's beautiful.

Beautiful group of 'huttes', extremely well drawn.

Very pretty and such a delicate drawing. Lovely!

Thank you all so very, very much for taking the time to have a look at my work and posting a comment. Seok, I saw your answer and I thank you for that and I think a lot of members just guessed who you are and where you live, now they know!!!

Lovely Mia understated and un fussy brill.

Thanks, Linda. I appreciate very much!

I think you must be pretty fit clambering about that terrain Mia, I feel my knees and back twitching in protest at the mere thought of such an undertaking, but at least some good came of it in the form of a lovely painting , Well done Mia.

Thank you very much for this positive comment, William. I WAS rather fit a few years ago, did a lot of training for those holidays, but not anymore (my knees and my back..!!!!). And I was not on this particular trip, my husband did it with a few friends from his sports club. I had a look through our photo albums and liked this view, so... All the other mountain paintings were painted after photo's I took myself.

Thank you Kirstie. I am glad I was of any help!

One of the mountain "huttes" in Austria my husband went to (2562m) in the Grossvenediger-region (I didn't!!!). This is again one of my pen and wash favourites. Size: 30x40cm.
