What a beautiful pen and wash--- I like this one Mia

I agree with Charles, A lovely piece of work.

Beautiful Mia ! I visited that beautiful place a few years back and you have certainly done it justice.

Lovely tranquil image Mia. The soft colours make it look really inviting.

Signed in especially for you Mia. I love tha way you almost tell a story with your painting, This has a lovely airy, light and freshness about it. I can almost see the "little" people in it. Great piece of work.

I agree with everyone, lovely painting Mia

Thank you all so very much for those lovely, positive comments. Sylvia, I am glad you saw the "little" people in it. I was afraid to overdo it and I am not used to put people in my paintings, thanks!

Beautiful Mia, lovely soft coulours and depth out to the mountains.

A beautiful painting Mia, a complicated scene but you have mastered it. Great composition and soft shades. So sad to think of all the destruction caused by wars. So glad it was restored to it's former beauty.

Another beautiful posting, Mia. Delicate colours, and beautiful drawing as usual.

Mia, this is stunning! I saw the original bridge when I was a student many years ago, but have not been back since the new bridge was rebuilt. You've captured the atmosphere of the place in spades!

Thanks Fiona, Carole, Ann and Seok. Your positive comments are highly appreciated!

Lovely fresh and light painting. The colour balance is spot on and suits the subject so well. Another great painting, Mia.

Thank you very much, Thea, for your lovely comment!

A really lovely view, well composed

Thanks Lesley.

Lovely dreamy crisp work Mia, so fresh and wonderful to look at!

A pen and wash of the Bridge at Mostar (former Yugoslavia). When I was a child I saw a movie about this bridge during WW2. Our neighbours visited Mostar a few years ago and gave me a picture of that (rebuilded) bridge and I couldn't resist making a pen and wash of it.
