This painting is partly from memory and partly from imagination. It is based on a scene near the place where I grew up in Co.Wexford in the south east of Ireland. It is a scene I paint often because it holds such magical memories. I painted it using scrapers, cloths and pallet knives as well as brushes. Acrylic on canvas H71xW90xD1.5cm
