Great painting, Max, with a believable sense of concentration as those fingers work their magic. The flesh tones are very good but her right arm (left as we look) seems to be blending with the background. Is that deliberate? Lovely work. Brian

Yes, good to see the real thing: and how much better it looks than the photograph - it was a good photo of a moment frozen in time, but this has far more life, texture and interest.

I like your paintings far more than your drawings. This is a gem.

An accurate copy of what was a rather dull and flat photograph in my opinion. I much prefer your more spontaneous life models, but clever stuff nonetheless.
