Biography

Max is a UK artist, classically trained in representational art, and having exhibited throughout the country. His recent exhibitions include the Royal Society of British Artists Exhibition at Mall Galleries, London where he was awarded the Gordon Hulson Prize. Max’s figures and portraiture focus on capturing the reality and true character of the subject. He is inspired by those moments where he can see the essence of the person he is capturing, allowing them to live on in the painting or drawing. Max sells existing artwork, limited edition prints, and accepts art commissions for portraits or landscapes.
