A plein-air sketch done this morning; thin black pen first, then a new Pentel brush-pen, (both water resistant) and then watercolour washes, all in my A4 cartridge sketchbook. the paper cockles a bit, but not so much that I can't still use both sides!

Matthew Sewell
Watercolourist since the 90's, and have just taken up oils a couple of years ago. I regularly paint en plein air with a local group called the Artful Dodgers, and aim to paint at least twice a week now I'm heading for retirement.
