Quite a tricky one to pull off Matthew, with all those trees and no definitive focal point as such. It's a damn good effort. I know that you haven't asked for critique, but a bit more strength to the foreground trees and land will help to give more depth to it. And perhaps a small figure or two by the far trees to add scale and give that all important focal point. A very pleasing watercolour all the same.

Watercolourist since the 90's, and have just taken up oils a couple of years ago. I regularly paint en plein air with a local group called the Artful Dodgers, and aim to paint at least twice a week now I'm heading for retirement.
