A watercolour on A3 Khadi paper, using a permanent marker to draw, and then strong transparent watercolour afterwards, rather than a traditional pen and wash approach. It is an unusual view, looking down into the next door boatyard and across to Raven's Ait island
About the Artist
Matthew Sewell
Watercolourist since the 90's, and have just taken up oils a couple of years ago. I regularly paint en plein air with a local group called the Artful Dodgers, and aim to paint at least twice a week now I'm heading for retirement.
